Enablence is a leading manufacturer of fibreoptic components for FTTx networks. In 2009 Enablence acquired 5 different companies on 2 continents and required a new website that would consolidate the product information of all 6 companies and extend the parent brand across a range of new sub-brands. Prior to developing the new information architecture a comprehensive content audit of all 6 sites was completed. The project had a hard deadline (the corporate AGM) that required a very accelerated work schedule.

The new Enablence website provides a multitude of browsing tools enabling users to explore the product database. These include an interactive map (Flash), a drop-down filter (JavaScript), a film strip GUI (JavaScript) as well as search. The site features secure downloadable documents, an interactive careers module with backend workflow, and video integration, among other elements. Additionally, the parent brand was applied to a range of downloadable materials in new sub brand verticals.
