Andrea Ong Pietkiewicz

Senior Consultant

Andrea Ong Pietkiewicz is a member of Thornley Fallis’ Social Media Practice. With more a decade’s marketing communications service to high-profile clients, Andrea’s passion is connecting businesses with their customers through a disciplined approach of understanding her clients’ businesses and their customers to develop strategies and tactics that deliver results.

Her foundational experience with global brands at multi-national agencies laid the groundwork for fluency with a broad spectrum of marketing channels: from traditional advertising to in-field marketing to the exciting array of current digital platforms.

Although Andrea has partnered with clients from a range of verticals, she has a special interest in automotive marketing, having collaborated with General Motors and Chrysler through much of her career.

One of Andrea’s strengths is her focus on complementing her strategic thinking skills with hands-on project management, critical to her personal mandate to be always accountable: to her ideas, her projects, her team mates, and above all, her clients.

Andrea is actively engaged online with members of the digital marketing community, constantly seeking opportunities to connect and to learn. She also believes in the need to lead and mentor the next generation of marketing practitioners and supports them by being a sounding board for ideas and offering them networking and educational opportunities. As an animal lover, she volunteers at the Toronto Humane Society.

Born in Singapore, Andrea re-located to Toronto in her teens. At the University of Western Ontario, she earned her Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Economics and English Literature. At her professors’ urging, she continued her academic career at Western to earn her Master’s degree in English Literature. Always a student, Andrea continues to participate in formal and informal training in various areas of interest: business analysis, information architecture, usability.
